Winter is at an end and spring is coming in the Southern Hemisphere as we transition from August to September.

So how did the messages from the fairies play out over winter 2022? And what’s in store for spring 2022?

If you missed it, you can read the winter oracle card messages here -> Winter 2022 Oracle Card Reading With The Fairies

Just to recap, at the beginning of winter I used Karen Kay’s ‘Oracle of the Fairies’ deck with artwork by Ginger Kelly, and Robert Reeves’ ‘Flower Therapy Oracle Cards.’ For this spring reading I’ll be adding Lucy Cavendish‘s ‘Wild Wisdom of the Faery Oracle’ with artwork by Selina Fenech to the mix. No copyright infringement is intended. See my disclaimer page for more information or email me at [email protected].

Let’s dive right in! Once again if you’re in the Northern Hemisphere you’ll want to just replace wherever I’ve referred to winter or spring with the relevant season for you.

Winter 2022 Oracle Recap!

If you haven’t already read the winter reading post, you can revisit that here.

From June to August personally, professionally, and spiritually, the banksia card signifying new beginnings was a major theme for this season of the year and season of my life (especially with my birthday marking a new year for me).

June was all about Hope, and this card helped me remain optimistic about things, especially challenges that arose. This helped me set up my mindset for the rest of winter.

In July I certainly looked in a book – multiple books! I’d rediscovered my interest in a spiritual tradition I used to practice, and refined this to reflect my current interests, especially home and hearthcraft, or cottage witchery as I like to call it. I read books on all things witchy, but also revisited my journals and books from my childhood that I enjoyed growing up (did anyone else really enjoy the ‘Deltora Quest’ series by Emily Rodda?). In the last few years, I’ve been reading quite serious self-help or psychology books about personal development and such. While these are great, I’ve really enjoyed getting back to reading some fiction.

By August, I decided that what I really want, and what I yearn for when I’m awake at 2am is being in nature and a simple life. I got further clarity about what I wanted to do in life and who I wanted to be, and through spirituality practices and decluttering (and heaps of moving furniture around), I feel like I’ve manifested a really nice cosy space and routine. I also officially launched this blog! You can read why here.

Spring 2022 Oracle Card Messages

For spring I’ll be drawing three cards, one for each month of spring, from Robert Reeves’ ‘Flower Therapy Oracle Cards’, and bringing them all together with Lucy Cavendish’s ‘Wild Wisdom of the Faery Oracle’ deck (my favourite fairy deck).

September: Crocus ‘You Are A Spiritual Teacher’

We start spring off with a nudge from the crocus, which bloom from late winter to early spring. Perfect timing! In the first month of spring, the crocus asks us to “share your wisdom with others. You were born to teach!”

So what message or lessons do you have to share? Have a think about what you have to share with the world, or if not the world, then anyone who could benefit from your unique wisdom. I’m sure you already benefit more people than you know with the conversations that you have with others.

The way that the crocus blooms after a period of dormancy and seeming inactivity (there’s a lot going on beneath the surface needless to say), and shows itself in all its glory in spring when the earth seems to be waking up and coming out, says to me that after a period of seeming inactivity in our lives with things happening behind the scenes (or ‘underground’), now is the perfect time to show ourselves and bloom like the crocus.

The recurring thought for September as I look at this card is to have the courage to speak your truth and teach your wisdom. You are ready for this.

October: Sweet Pea ‘Your Wishes Are Coming True’

I absolutely love sweet peas. In fact, I have some blooming in my front garden right now! No flowers yet at the time of writing this, but by October they’ll be out in shades of red, pink and purple. The sweet pea says, “What your heart has been longing for is getting closer every day.” Reading this sentence, what’s the first thing that comes to mind? You’re being guided and helped along the way by whatever spiritual support team you believe in (they believe in you too!). Trust this support.

This is a very heartening card, and reminds us to keep our energy and thoughts flowing towards what we’d like in life and what we’re yearning for, rather than what the problems are, what the blocks may be, or other energy sapping activities that may thwart our progress like invasive weeds.

Your wishes and dreams and heart’s desires are manifesting themselves with every thought and action you take towards them. In October, know that keeping your energy flowing towards what you want will help your wishes and dreams come true.

November: Banksia ‘New Beginnings’

The banksia is back! By now we’re familiar with this card as it made an appearance as the overall theme of winter, which I discussed earlier. If you missed the post, you can read it here.

On my walks during winter I’ve noticed the banksias more and more – I even turned on the TV, and straight away I was watching a gardening program where they were talking specifically about banksias! No joke, there were signs abound and nudges to embrace the flow of the new beginnings that were taking place, of which there were many.

So the banksia is back telling us once again to prepare for new beginnings and to “take this as an opportunity to rise from the ashes stronger and more determined.” The hard bit is over and you have the strength to pick yourself up (with support if needed) and carry on with your mission.

In November, we’re being guided to move forward and embrace all the new beginnings that have been manifested by our thoughts and intentions throughout spring.

Bringing it all together

With this array of beautiful flowers with their lovely messages, an overall flow of the spring season becomes apparent.

Beginning spring in September, we’re being told that this is the time to bloom and to have the courage to share our message and teachings as the crocus is doing, and embrace the spiritual teaching role, whatever that means to you. We’re ready for this.

As we embrace the spiritual teaching role in September, by October we’re being told by the sweet peas that our heart’s desires are coming true. If we keep our energy uplifted and trust that everything is unfolding for us in the direction of our wishes and dreams, these will eventually be manifested.

Finally in November, the last month of spring, the banksia is telling us that from sharing our truth and message and embracing the spiritual teacher role, as well as trusting that our wishes and heart’s desires are coming true as we keep our energy flowing, then we’ll have our new beginnings.

A Final Word from the Faeries – ‘The Gift’

Spring looks to be a beautiful month of manifestation and new growth, not just in nature, but in each of our lives as well.

The faeries are indicating that in spring, there may be a gift that presents itself. This could be related to your heart’s desires that the sweet pea is indicating.

You may be approached by someone who has something to offer you in regards to your dreams, and it’s up to you what you want to do with that. There may be an opportunity that presents itself. This gift can come about in a variety of ways, so keep your energy uplifted and your eyes alert this spring for any offers and opportunities that come your way – they may be surprising.

Of course check in with yourself and your spiritual support team to see if this offer/opportunity is right for you. There’s no pressure to say yes to something that you want to say no to, no matter how dazzling and tempting the opportunity may be. How you feel and your inner nudgings should have the final say.

We’re also being encouraged to work with our hands in whatever way we can, particularly as it relates to the earth practices and artisanal work that you enjoy or speaks to you.

Stay open and receptive to offers, gifts and opportunities that may come your way in spring. Follow the whisperings of your soul, the longings of your heart, and the nudgings of the universe and your spiritual support team.

Final thoughts and questions!

What an amazing season spring is looking to be!

What are your thoughts about potential messages and personal truths you could share as a spiritual teacher? How do you feel about that role? What are you guided to share with the help of the crocus?

What wishes do you carry in your heart that you’d like to manifest with the help of the sweet peas?

Have the banksias been showing up in your life in unusual ways signifying new beginnings for you?

Let me know of any gifts, offers and opportunities that may manifest themselves during spring for you and help your dreams come true!

I’d love to hear your quiet thoughts.

Much love from me,
