With winter hanging on through most of spring, and summer starting slowly, autumn is slowly creeping in.

So how did the messages play out over Summer 2022-23? And what’s in store for autumn 2023?

Keep in mind with these readings that because I’m situated in the southern hemisphere, I’ll be talking about the messages for March to May inclusive for autumn 2023. If you’re situated in the northern hemisphere, you’ll want to change autumn to spring, or whatever is relevant to you. But don’t worry! The reading can apply no matter where you are in the world.

If you missed them, you can read the relevant blog posts for other 2022 readings here:

For this reading I’ll be using Robert Reeves’ ‘Flower Therapy Oracle Cards’ and the accompanying guidebook and Flower Therapy book, as well as Colette Baron-Reid’s ‘The Spirit Animal Oracle’ card deck with the accompanying guidebook.

Let’s get to it!

Summer 2022-23 Oracle Recap!

December was a time of wishes coming true with the appearance of the sweet pea card; January was a time where we needed to double down on believing in our inherent lovability with the camellia; and February was a time of daffodils encouraging us to share the message of love.

In January, I watched one of Robert Reeves’ weekly guidance messages on Facebook and the camellia card fell out. It actually flew across the room; the camellia really wanted to make an appearance! The statement he made that landed deeply was, “Trust that who you are is okay.”

Autumn 2023 Oracle Card Messages

As for the last reading, for autumn I’ll be drawing three cards, one for each month of autumn, from Robert Reeves’ ‘Flower Therapy Oracle Cards,’ and bringing them all together with Colette Baron-Reid’s ‘The Spirit Animal Oracle.’

Three oracle cards, from left to right, Agapanthus "world energy" text says, "the earth is going through a transition, and your sensitive body is feeling it. You're not alone; accept the help of others." The middle card is a pink azalea, "wise soul", text says, "Your soul carries ancient wisdom. Please embrace it, as you have the knowledge to help those around you." The third card is the orange lily, "uplift your thoughts", text says, "focus your attention on the many blessings that surround you. By doing so, you'll let go of depression, poor self-esteem and excess weight."

March: Agapanthus – “World Energy”

I read this card as a continuation of the daffodils of February where we shared the message of love.

The agapanthus carries the vibration of healing on a global level, and says to us, “the earth is going through a transition of energy, and your sensitive body is feeling it. You’re not alone; accept the help of others.”

For me personally, I immediately think of my own concerns about the environment and what we as humans are doing to our planet and home – for a discussion about this eco-anxiety please have a read of the following blog article, Veganuary: For the Love of Animals.

I’m sure I’m not the only person experiencing a feeling of anxiety, grief, and hopelessness at times, and need to remind myself to focus on what I can do as an individual to influence and contribute to the collective movement of environmental healing.

Like the agapanthus is comprised of multiple flowers that make a ball shape (as is pointed out in the book Flower Therapy), I hope that there are multiple individuals who share my love for nature, the environment, and want to see a global healing take place by infusing our home with love and treating our home with respect.

In the meantime, while the world is in turmoil and we’re being affected by the chaotic energy of a deep transitional phase for our society and Earth, we’re encouraged to spend time in nature, and to know that we’re not alone in this transition; we can band together as sensitive souls and get through this tumultuous period.

April: Azalea – “Wise Soul”

From this place of being sensitive to world energies (and needing to take appropriate steps individually and collectively with other sensitive people to heal ourselves and be of benefit to healing the planet through its transitional phase), in April we have a message from the Azalea:

“Your soul carries ancient wisdom. Please embrace it, as you have the knowledge to help those around you.”

We’re encouraged to deepen our spirituality, whatever that may be for you, and the first phrase in the accompanying guidebook of the ‘Flower Therapy Oracle Cards’ is, “You’re here on earth with an important mission. You have deep spiritual wisdom within you.”

And this deep spiritual wisdom, whatever it may be for you, needs to be shared from your wise soul and heart.

May: Orange Lily – “Uplift Your Thoughts”

To finish the autumn season and after working with the agapanthus on the world energy, and cultivating our spiritual practice by listening to and sharing what is in our wise souls with the azalea, we have the orange lily that encourages us to uplift our thoughts and to individually “focus your attention on the many blessings that surround you.”

It seems that throughout autumn we go from focusing on the outer global world energy in March with the agapanthus, to the deep inner spiritual world wisdom of the azalea in April, to then focusing on uplifting our thoughts and bringing our authentic actions to the world with the orange lily in May.

In the accompanying guidebook, this phrase stood out to me: “There are no mistakes… You’re created this way for a reason, and it’s best that you choose to accept who you are. Live your life as your true self,” which will no doubt inspire others.

We’re encouraged to step into our authentic selves and build confidence by focusing on uplifting thoughts and practicing radical self-acceptance. From this place, we can then bring healing to ourselves, to others in our lives, and to the world by being positive role models.

The orange lily also tells us to pay attention to the small joys in life.

A Final Word from Flamingo Spirit – “Embrace the In-between”

Flamingo oracle card with the number 26 at the top and text that says, "Flamingo spirit: Embrace the in-between."

Bringing this reading together is the flamingo spirit that teaches us all about balance and embracing the transitional times in our lives. It teaches us to not be in such a rush that we don’t enjoy the scenery along the way, and that now is a time that can be best enjoyed by being present to our lives in this transitional phase.

I feel as though the flamingo spirit’s arrival is both about embracing the transitional phase of the planet as well as on our own individual personal levels this autumn.

Transitions can be uncomfortable, but to me the flamingo seems to be encouraging us to sit with the discomfort. Look at the way a flamingo balances and sits; not the most comfortable looking position.

It’s time to embrace this time when we’re transitioning globally and individually, rather than clinging to the past or being overly focused on the future and rushing to get somewhere.

With balance and trust and an openness to embracing what now has to offer us, in the in-between phase of our lives, we can flourish.

P.P.S. I’ll be taking a short break in March to focus on fine-tuning some aspects of this blog and blogging in general, so there won’t be a weekly post or email from me during this time. Thank you for understanding and I’ll be back with more blog posts in April!
